From August 2022 to June 2026, I held the role of main designer on several campaigns promoting various programs at Heartland Community College. The primary focus of each campaign was creating Departmental Logos—imagery evoking Heartland’s brand identity to represent different departments at the college, used in both print and digital media for a wide variety of audiences.
tools: clip studio paint, adobe illustrator
role: project lead, main designer/illustrator, brainstorming facilitator
used for many different audiences, and required [precise/expert] knowledge of what appeals to different [demographics]
required meeting with different departments to get info from them and brainstorm/ideate, conducting independent research on the program/department/thing, drafting different options and presenting designs to [clients], explaining the “story” behind every design choice, accepting and accurately applying feedback and modifications
many were then used for print/promo items; required further modifications to format designs for printing on t-shirts, stickers, tablecloths, etc
