“what you make here matters”, in such an overstimulating/oversaturated world, it can be easy to feel/get lost(insignificant) in the [miasma/complexity of our world/noise], but your work here matters
created over the summer of 2023 (june/july?); other student workers come and are inspired by the art that’s near [and dear] to them; the proximity makes it [hard to ignore],,, subliminal encouragement?

what did i think while making it…. wanted to speak to a broad, diverse audience (not just local) while also tying in the international impact your work can do (spreading beyond you); your hands can “shape the world around you”; important that i show different skin colors, types of tools, and the global [impact]; didnt want to focus too much on just heartland, but the SCB is a subtle nod/focal point for WHERE this impactful work can/will happen,,,, right in front of you :)
